ROHS – Our Printed Circuit Boards Have Been Lead-Free Since 2005

In 2003, the European Union passed major legislation stating that all printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies must soon be lead-free. In more recent years, the U.S., Japan, China and a number of other global powerhouses have all taken similar action.

Today, most electronic products are required to be lead-free. While many companies have struggled to comply, here at IntraTek, Inc., we’re proud to say we have been producing lead-free circuit boards since mid 2005!

Our in-house solder coating is LEAD-FREE. Still, if one of our customers requires standard HASL, we can send it to our outside service. For most customers however, our simple lead-free solution works best.

We provide lead-free material like FR406, FR408, IS410 and we use lead-free finishes like immersion tin, immersion silver, immersion gold, or lead free HASL (using lead free solder such as SN100CL).

Here at IntraTek, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with a multitude of printed circuit board options. If you are not sure how to proceed, call us and we will help you in your decision making process.

Regardless of whether you want our regular HASL boards or high-reliability lead-free boards, you can be assured that they will go through the lead-free assembly and rework processes successfully.
